Stamfordham Jumble Sale

Many people donated Jumble to be sold at the Stamfordham Jumble Sale on 28th March. Sadly the event could not go ahead because of the Coronavirus pandemic lock-down that was imposed on 23rd March.

However, during August we were able to have a Jumble Sale of sorts, allowing only 5 people at a time into the hall and ensuring they wore masks and gloves during their visit. As many items as possible were laid out for viewing. There was also a raffle which helped to raise a few extra pounds.

Volunteers from the Stamfordham Playing Field & Village Hall committee gave up many hours of their time to sort through all the items that had been donated and set up the hall to work in a way that adhered to the Government COVID 19 guidelines. The committee managed to raise a little more money through selling off items that were left after the sale.

Thank you to everyone who donated items for the sale.
