During the next few weeks you will see scaffolding up at the village hall so that essential repair work can be carried out. There have been issues with water finding its way inside and a report to the committee earlier in the summer by a surveyor from NFU advised that repair work to both gable ends, in particular, should be completed before this winter. The re-pointing is being done with the same mix as National Heritage would require. It is particularly suitable for old stone buildings like the Village Hall and the additional cost for this is negligible.

Thanks to the amazing support we have received from people in the village who have come along and participated in a range of events over the past 12 months we have been able to find the money to get this work done.
